How do I sign up?
Fill out an SV E-Sports interest form and return to
Mr. Cooper at the High School.
Do I have to have my own equipment?
Symmes Valley will provide gaming equipment at team practices and events, but it is recommended you have your own Gaming PC/Console at home to practice.
Students will be required to have their own Discord account, as well as a STEAM account for PC players.
Is there a cost to sign up?
There is no cost associated with joining the SV
E-Sports team. However, students will be required
to have transportation for after-school practices and matches.
I've been interested in gaming and E-Sports, but not sure I'm good enough to join a team.
E-Sports are certainly competitive. If you're interested, give it a try! We welcome students of all skill-levels and offer a safe coaching environment.
Will we be required to travel to other locations for events?
Most regular events will take place in the Symmes Valley High School Student Success Center. If our team qualifies for regional championship events or beyond - transportation will be provided.
Are there any additional fees if our team goes to regional events.
There is no additional cost or extra fees for participating in competitions.
If interested, please get an interest form from the office or outside the tech office in the high school.
